The Party
As time goes on, I find I quote some of the same people again and again; these are people I think of as my conversation partners, even if they don't always respond to me. Any time I refer to a living person twice, I will add them to the list here.
But there’s also something mystical about bibliographic citations. They invoke the muse after the fact. They hint at provenance, at pedigree, at parentage. They’re a glimpse into what had to come together in order to birth a new narrative. Bibliography is heraldry.
